很久以前，當我走在生命的道路上，我看到一個牌子，上寫︰“天堂的雜貨店”。
當我走上前去，門自動打開了，我反應過來後，發現自己已經站在店里了。
我看到一群天使，店里隨處都有他們的身影，一位交給我一個籃子，便說，“孩子，小心采購。”
在雜貨店里有每一個人需要的東西，你拿不動時以後還可以再回來拿。
我先取了些“忍耐”，“仁愛”也在同一排貨架上，在往下走就看到“理解”，這是你去哪兒都非常需要的。
我又拿了一兩盒“智慧”和一兩袋“信心”，當然我還需要一些“善良”，我也沒忘記“聖靈”，他到處都在。
為了跑這生命的競賽，我拿了些“力量”和“勇氣”。
我的籃子快滿了，可我想起還需要“恩典”，我又選了“救恩”，因為那是免費的，我心想多拿一點足夠你和我用。
然後，走向櫃台準備付錢，心想我拿到了遵行主的旨意所需要的一切貨物。
在另一個貨架上，我看見“禱告”，所以就拿了點兒，因為我知道一走到外面就會踫到“罪惡”。
“平安”和“喜樂”供貨充足，擺在架子最後面，“詩歌”和“贊美”就在旁邊，所以我也順手拿了些。
然後，我就對天使說︰“我要付多少？”
他笑著說︰“只要你無論去哪里都帶著就行了。”
我又問︰“說實話，我欠你多少？”
他說︰“孩子，耶穌在很久以前就為你付了賬。”——
